You have decided to add calligraphy to your wedding details. Wonderful!!
here is a EXPLANATION of how we can work together and some timelines. PLease conact me so I can put you on my calendar and secure your details for your wedding.
once we have chatted about what you are looking for and agreed to move forward, a $25 deposit will be placed to secure you on my calendar. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final payment
next you will bring or mail your envelopes to me (with an additional 20% of envelopes for last minute changes or additions) with an included contract
guest list is next! I ask that you email me your guest list in a word or pages document (no spreadsheets- I can walk you through converting those spreadsheets to documents if needed). Please have your addresses exactly as you would like them to look on the envelope (ST. vs Street or VA vs. Virginia)
once I have received your envelopes and contract I will send you an invoice with the final payment. Payment must be paid prior to me beginning your project.
Sit back! I will send you updates as I am working.
Turnaround time for envelopes depends on time of year and number to be completed. Generally it takes me about 10 days per 100 envelopes. Once everything is done, I will mail the envelopes back to you for you to finish up stuffing them with your invites.
once to have talked about what kind of place cards or escort cards you were imagining, I will send you a invoice and contract with the details listed out and a $25 deposit to hold your spot on my calendar. If you will be needing the cards in 30 days or less, final payment will be due instead of the deposit.
email me your list. I ask that only one name be assigned per card due to the size of the card. It’s also exciting for each guest to feel special having their own individual card!
it takes me about 3-4 days per 100 place cards depending on the other items on my calendar. Once they are completed I will either drop off the cards to you (or your wedding planner) if you are local to Charlottesville, or place them in the mail.
wedding hotel welcome bags, special signage, gift tags for bridal party members… there are so many other ways to incorporate calligraphy into your special day. Let’s chat about what ideas you may have!
